Rob Dykman, Chair
As the current Chair of the Board, Rob is actively working to promote Terrace as a strong and vibrant service center for the region. Rob has also been the owner and General Manager of Tower Radio Ltd. for the past 11 years. He is a certified electronic technician specializing in telecommunications, with prior experience as an engineer in broadcasting, communications, and electronics. Email Rob

Kam Siemens, Treasurer
Kam began her career in the Financial Services industry in 1996 and started her own practice at Investors Group in 2004. Kam earned her Certified Financial Planner designation through the Financial Planning Standards Council of Canada in 2003 and is currently completing her studies to become a Financial Divorce Specialist. Kam’s role as the treasurer for TEDA has exposed her to many individuals in the area who share her passion for the Terrace community. She truly believes that Terrace brings great opportunities for local business growth. Email Kam

Bob Park, Chamber Representation
Bob Park moved from Lacombe, Alberta to Terrace in 1972. In the same year, he became the first employee of the local sporting goods store, All Seasons Source for Sports, and took sole ownership of the store in 2005. He has served on numerous boards over the years, including: the original TEDA board (1985); the B.C. Winter Games Committee of 1986; the Terrace Parks and Recreation Advisory Board; the Terrace Chamber; the Terrace Rotary Club; the Terrace Child Development Board; and co-chaired Hockeyville 2009. Alexander Pietralla, Secretary
Alexander holds a Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Applied Sciences in Munich, as well as a certificate in Strategy and Leadership, Change and Innovation, and Entrepreneurial Thinking from the ESMT in Berlin. Alex has worked in project management, sales and marketing in the automotive industry, including Plastic Omnium SA in Paris and Frankfurt, Magna in Munich, and Draexlmaier Group in Landshut. Dave O'Leary, Director
Dave has a rich and varied history as an educator and entrepreneur. He has served in multiple roles (such as President or Director) for a number of groups, including the Association for Cooperative Education for British Columbia and the Yukon, the Information and Communications Technology Council (ICTC), and the Canadian National Council of Deans of Information Technology. Dave is currently the CIO and Dean of Computer and Business Technology at Northwest Community College. Email Dave

Malte Juergensen, Director
Malte joined RBC in 1990, holding roles in personal banking for approximately 10 years. In 2000, he switched over to Commercial Lending, which encouraged the move to Terrace. He currently holds the role of Senior Account Manager in Commercial Banking, primarily serving the Aboriginal and public sector market. He is also a past President of the Terrace Kinsmen Club, the former Director for the Terrace and District Chamber of Commerce, and past President and current Treasurer of the Rotary Club of Terrace. Christine Slanz, Director
Christine Slanz has served as the Executive Director of the Northwest Science & Innovation Society since 2006. Christine holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Planning and a Masters in Science in Natural Resources and Environmental Studies, both from UNBC, and is an accredited urban and regional planner. Christine successfully completed the Leadership BC program in Terrace in 2007/2008, and has served on the board of the Lakelse Dragon Boat Society. Email Christine

Scott Walter, Director
Scott is a local businessman running multiple businesses in Terrace over the past 22 years. Presently, Scott owns and runs Northern Vacuum & Sewing Center, Spirit Stones (a monument company), Downtown Mini Storage, and Scotech Systems Inc. Scott has strong experience in engineering, product development, prototyping, manufacturing and manufacturing management, intellectual property, logistics, and marketing. Scott is very passionate about the health of our regions businesses, resources, people, and support structures. He believes that we all play an important part of the “whole” of who, and what we are as a community and region. Email Scott

Evan van Dyk
Evan is the Economic Development Officer at TEDA, and a key point of contact for companies and entrepreneurs looking to invest in Terrace and the surrounding area. Prior to joining TEDA, he worked at Northern Development Initiative Trust, developing "investment-ready community profiles" for small municipalities in Northern communities. Evan has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Northern British Columbia, with a Major in Accounting. Email Evan

Thecla Fladhamer
Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Thecla joined TEDA approximately 6 years ago as the Office Manager and Executive Assistant. Prior to TEDA, she worked with the Member of Parliaments in the Skeena Riding as an Executive Assistant over a 10 year period, and with the Ministry of Forests as the Executive Secretary to the District Manager.
