We at TEDA have a board of directors that are comprised of professionals across different types of businesses in Terrace. The intent of having this Board of Directors, who graciously volunteer their time to serve the board, is to get a good cross section of the community.
In 2012, it was felt that more in depth feedback of the community is needed and that an engagement of business owners was important. With that being the number one priority on our strategic plan, we are currently looking to outreach to the business community.
Moving ahead with the survey, we are hoping that we can receive some important information on how we should be working with local business and also give pertinent information to local groups from the business community.
In order to reach more owners and managers, we have partnered with a class from the Business Administration program at Northwest Community College and local students will be helping us meet with businesses that interest them.
Be sure to stay up to date and we will let you know how we progress on this initiative.
